U8s

It was with a heavy heart on Sunday that the tags and belts were removed from the U8's touring posse for the final time.

For those of you who couldn't make the tour, it was mega. I have compiled a few statistics to give a flavour of what happened:

Number of arguments: 0
Hands washed: Not disclosed
Faces washed: 1
Number of times teeth cleaned: 104
Average pieces of fruit eaten per tourist: 2
Average kilograms of sweets eaten: 3.243kg
Litres of fizzy drinks consumed: 107
Best film released in recent years: The Force Awakens
Metres walked during weekend: 0
Metres run over the weekend: 19,200 (12 miles)
Number of times coaches said no: Still collating data!
Tourists caught sleeping on coach coming home: 2
Amazing rugby skills displayed: All Sunday
Two hands on the ball: Always
Number of Shoe laces tied: 3258

Between now and September the coaching team will be working hard planning for next season, burning tags and belts and investigating the merits of a portable shelter for next season.

It has been a pleasure coaching the boys this season and we have really found it rewarding seeing them improve week on week.

Looking forward to September - Keep an eye out for an U9's email!!!
