Update

Sadly its over for another year but we did manage to bring back almost all the boys back from tour!

I am pleased to report the following from our fantastic weekend away:

No. Showers - 0 (This is a big improvement on last year thanks to Will)
No. pieces fruit eaten - 9.
No. times teeth cleaned - 66 (sorry all, we missed one session)
No. tackles made - too many to count
No. serious injuries - 0
No. people over indulged and were sick/felt sick - Not disclosed
No. chocolate biscuits eaten - 264 (or thereabouts)
No. wee's on the coach (that's the bus) - 54, alarmingly these were by just 11 of the tourists
No. tellings off - 0 (No really 0, well may be 1 or 2)
No. changes of underwear - nowhere near enough
No. items lost and then found - 13

All in all we all had a great time and it was a genuine pleasure to take the boys away and get to know them a little better. We have nearly finished compiling suitable photos to share - I will send a link out later this week.

Now back to business.

As you may know in 1876 the first two way telephone conversation over using outdoor wires occurred between Alexander Bell and Thomas Watson. To celebrate this the club have rung Newark and arranged for our last session at home to be a match against them as a re-arranged fixture. We hope you can make it.

Our final session of the season will then be on 23rd April at the Matlock rugby festival. I am reliably informed this is an excellent day out and I hope many of you can make it. If not please let me know so I can get a handle on numbers.

The club's award evening will follow on from this on 27th April with medals and praise handed out like confetti - but in a meaningful and earnest manner.

Lastly the votes are now flying in for players player of the season. I need all votes in for 10th April for me to collate. Please remember to provide 2 votes. In the event of a draw I will panic and work something out.

Hope to see you all on Sunday for a 10:30 kick-off
