The Rushcliffe Rugby Development Group was established in 2009 to co-ordinate the work of the Junior clubs in Rushcliffe and ensure that they work together to strengthen the junior game in the Borough.

Membership of the Groups is Rushcliffe Borough Council Sports Development, RFU, Rushcliffe School Sports Partnership, Nottingham Rugby, West Bridgford RFC, Keyworth RFC, Nottingham Boots Corsairs RFC and Nottingham Moderns RFC.

The groups aims are to:

Establish a clear picture of Junior rugby delivery within the community and schools in the Borough.
Offer an opportunity to co-ordinate work and avoid duplication.
Ensure that the maximum benefit is achieved for Community Clubs from work with Nottingham Rugby.
Explore joint marketing opportunities.
Develop stronger junior sections at all Community Clubs.
Enhanced programme of delivery within School and community settings.
